John Pezaris

Biographical Information


John has been working as a research fellow at the Harvard Medical School since completing his Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems at the California Institute of Technology in 2000. His research interests lie in the field of visual prosthetics, that is, the restoration of function to blind individuals through implanted artificial eyes. Other interests include photography (taking and viewing), live music, and creating the perfect gin and tonic.
