ecclisi'es
J. S. Pezaris
These photographs of churches in the Greek Cycladic islands form a
collection that is a work in progress. Most were taken on the islands of
Paros, Sifnos and Naxos. The word ecclisi'es (pronounced
ek-lee-SEE-ehs) translates to churches. The Cycladic islands are
famous for their beautiful white-washed buildings, stunning landscapes, and
saturating, brilliant sunlight.
